continues in 2022 after a lapse of a year in 2021 due to the pandemic.

Lumpur - Leong Seng Yi & Tan Peng Hong from Malacca,

Sasaran Arts Association - the
Artist Residency Program continues with another 2 young artists, Jason
Teo Jia Hao & Gabriel Pek Bo Yang.
However due to the current pandemic the final Exhibition of their work
will be on hold till the situation improves.

The 2 young Malaysia artists have started their residencies for two
months in Sasaran. Their final exhibition
after the residency, featuring their creative output is
scheduled to be exhibited in December at the Balai Seni Sasaran Kuala

Artist Residency Program in Sasaran 2018
Sasaran Arts Association has started a new
program
in Sasaran - the
Artist Residency Program in 2018, the aim is to continue promoting
Sasaran as an art village and to provide a platform for young artists
to grow, develop and create art. Sasaran Arts Association provided
artists with a conducive studio space, living arrangement and monthly
stipends, along with opportunity to exhibit their artworks at the end
of the residency.
Starting 1st September 2018, Sasaran hosted its
first batch of artist
in residence. Two young Malaysia artists King Zhe Rui and Wong Yi Leng
have started their residencies for two months in Sasaran. There will be
a final
exhibition after the residency, their creative output is
scheduled to be exhibited in December at the Balai Seni Sasaran Kuala
Selangor (Sasaran
Art Gallery Kuala Selangor)!
